Business Analyst – Core Banking & PMO
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and follow up on the portfolio of banking projects, ensuring progress, milestones, and deliverables are properly tracked.
- Perform PMO activities, including project status monitoring, reporting, coordination, and follow-up.
- Gather and analyze requirements directly with business users and stakeholders.
- Prepare clear and detailed functional specifications and business documentation.
- Follow up with development teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
- Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Track issues, actions, dependencies, and project deliverables.
- Prepare management reports and project status reports.
- Create and maintain user guides, operational documentation, and manuals.
- Support projects through their complete end-to-end lifecycle, from requirements through implementation.
- Coordinate communication between business users, functional teams, development teams, and other stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, PMO Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of banking and financial services.
- Proven experience gathering requirements and translating them into functional documentation.
- Experience preparing functional specifications and business process documentation.
- Experience managing or supporting projects E2E (end-to-end).
- Experience coordinating with development and technical teams.
- Experience conducting and coordinating user acceptance testing.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Medium-level knowledge of Microsoft Office / Pack Office.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating multiple stakeholders and activities.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of MiFID regulations and processes.
- Experience inventorying or managing tests using Azure.
- Previous experience in a PMO environment.
- Experience working with project portfolios and management reporting.
- Knowledge of banking applications, processes, and regulatory initiatives.
