Key Responsibilities

GenAI Platform & Framework Development

• Design and develop reusable Python libraries, internal frameworks, scaffolds, and developer tools to accelerate the development of GenAI applications.
• Build common components and platforms that can be adopted by multiple development teams.
• Contribute to the design and evolution of internal GenAI platforms and architectures.
• Promote reusable, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.

Architecture & Technical Standards

• Define software architecture patterns, technical standards, and best practices for GenAI-based solutions.
• Design architectures that are scalable, maintainable, extensible, and production-ready.
• Establish development guidelines around clean architecture, design patterns, testing, and software quality.
• Participate in architectural decisions concerning the evolution of the platform and GenAI components.

Technical Leadership & Code Reviews

• Perform technical reviews and code reviews across projects using the organization's frameworks and tools.
• Ensure adherence to established architecture and coding standards.
• Provide technical guidance to development teams.
• Mentor developers in the effective use of internal libraries, frameworks, patterns, and best practices.

Troubleshooting & Production Support

• Support development teams in diagnosing and resolving complex technical incidents.
• Troubleshoot issues across development and production environments.
• Investigate problems in distributed systems and identify sustainable technical solutions.
• Contribute to improving system reliability, performance, and maintainability.

GenAI Innovation

• Continuously research the latest developments in Generative AI and LLM technologies.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and determine their applicability to internal platforms and solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing architectures, frameworks, and development practices.
• Participate in technical evaluations and strategic technology decisions related to GenAI.

Collaboration

• Work closely with multiple development, architecture, cloud, and technology teams.
• Support the successful adoption of internal tools, frameworks, and technical standards.
• Promote consistency and best practices across development teams.
• Act as a technical reference for Python, architecture, and GenAI engineering.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong experience developing Python libraries, reusable components, internal tools, or frameworks.
• Proven experience designing scalable, maintainable, and extensible software architectures.
• Hands-on experience developing microservices.
• Strong experience with FastAPI or equivalent Python frameworks.
• Excellent knowledge of the Python ecosystem, including:

  • Poetry

  • FastAPI
• Strong understanding of:
  • Design patterns
  • Clean Architecture
  • Software testing
  • Code quality
  • Maintainable software design
• Experience conducting code reviews and technical reviews.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving incidents in distributed systems.
• Experience working with containers and containerized applications.
• Strong experience with AWS, particularly:
  • CloudWatch
  • X-Ray
  • App Runner / Fargate
  • Lambda
• Experience with CI/CD practices and tooling, including:
  • Git
  • Jenkins
  • Sonar

Desirable Skills

• Experience developing applications based on LLMs or Generative AI.
• Experience with GenAI application architectures and platforms.
