Backend Developer – AI Agents & MCP
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust backend services and components supporting AI-powered web applications.
- Develop and integrate AI Agents into customer-facing digital services.
- Integrate and orchestrate AI skills, tools, agents, and MCP-based capabilities.
- Develop APIs and backend services required to support AI-driven customer experiences.
- Contribute to the architecture and implementation of the Blue Project.
- Collaborate with frontend, AI, architecture, and other technical teams.
- Design integrations between backend services and AI capabilities.
- Support the development of scalable and maintainable architectures for AI-enabled web services.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and continuously improve backend and AI integrations.
- Follow software development best practices, including testing, code quality, security, and documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in Backend Development.
- Hands-on experience developing or integrating AI Agents.
- Experience working with AI skills, tools, and agent-based architectures.
- Knowledge or practical experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol).
- Strong understanding of backend development concepts and API integration.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and integrating external services.
- Good understanding of scalable and maintainable software architectures.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary technical teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with LLM-based applications and Generative AI.
- Experience with agent orchestration frameworks.
- Knowledge of tool/function calling and AI agent workflows.
- Experience integrating MCP servers or MCP-enabled tools.
