Job Description
As a Senior DevOps Specialist, you will play a key role in designing, automating, and maintaining the cloud infrastructure that supports enterprise Generative AI projects.
You will be responsible for implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), managing CI/CD pipelines, supporting development teams with DevOps best practices, and continuously improving the platform's reliability, scalability, and security. In addition to hands-on engineering, you will act as a technical leader, guiding teams, reviewing implementations, and contributing to backlog prioritization and architectural decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation, ensuring secure, scalable, and reproducible environments.
- Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives, with additional exposure to Terraform where required.
- Administer and optimize Jenkins environments, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and continuous integration processes.
- Assist development teams in adopting GitHub Actions and standardizing modern DevOps workflows.
- Provide technical support and guidance to engineering teams on DevOps practices, troubleshooting, and platform usage.
- Develop reusable templates, libraries, and automation accelerators to streamline the delivery of Generative AI projects.
- Review technical implementations to ensure consistency, compliance with architecture standards, and overall solution quality.
- Act as the technical reference within the DevOps team, supporting backlog prioritization, task reviews, and technical coordination.
- Identify opportunities to improve platform performance, security, observability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with architects, software engineers, AI teams, and cloud specialists to deliver robust enterprise solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering within enterprise or mission-critical environments.
- Strong expertise in AWS CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code.
- Working knowledge of Terraform for cloud infrastructure automation.
- Advanced experience with AWS services, including:
- AWS AppRunner
- AWS Lambda
- AWS AgentCore
- Core AWS cloud services
- Experience administering and optimizing Jenkins, including pipeline creation, deployment automation, and CI/CD management.
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions and modern CI/CD workflows.
- Strong knowledge of the Python ecosystem, including:
- Git
- Artifactory
- pip
- Poetry
- Basic Python scripting
- Solid understanding of cloud security, observability, scalability, and cost optimization best practices.
- Experience reviewing technical work and mentoring development teams.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Generative AI or AI platform engineering initiatives.
- Knowledge of Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience implementing DevOps standards for AI/ML application development.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as CloudWatch, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- AWS certifications or other cloud-related certifications are considered an advantage.
