Job Description

As a DevOps Specialist, you will be responsible for managing AWS infrastructure deployments while supporting the coordination of technical activities across the DevOps team.

In addition to your hands-on cloud engineering responsibilities, you will help organize team priorities, coordinate assigned tasks, and facilitate communication between technical teams and client stakeholders. This role plays an important part in ensuring efficient delivery, enabling the client lead to focus on strategic initiatives while maintaining high operational standards.

The ideal candidate combines strong AWS and DevOps expertise with excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day activities and technical tasks across the DevOps team.
Support planning, prioritization, and follow-up of assigned work to ensure timely delivery.
Deploy, manage, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure.
Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery.
Develop automation scripts and operational tools using Python.
Collaborate with development, architecture, and operations teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure platform stability.
Promote DevOps best practices, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Act as a technical liaison between the engineering team and project stakeholders.
Contribute to documentation, deployment procedures, and operational standards.

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Experience coordinating technical teams or supporting delivery management activities.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
Strong scripting skills in Python.
Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Experience deploying and managing cloud infrastructure in AWS environments.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
Experience with Git, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
AWS certifications are considered an advantage.
Previous experience working in enterprise or regulated environments.
