Job Description

As a Technical Leader, you will provide technical leadership for backend development initiatives, supporting the design of cloud-native architectures and enterprise integrations while guiding development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

You will collaborate with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned with business objectives. In addition to leading technical decisions, you will help promote best practices, mentor developers, and contribute to the adoption of AI-driven technologies where appropriate

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and implementation of backend solutions and integration architectures.
• Define scalable and maintainable cloud-native architectures using AWS services.
• Collaborate with architects and development teams to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Design and oversee integrations between internal systems, cloud services, and third-party platforms.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to development teams.
• Review technical solutions, identify risks, and recommend improvements to architecture and implementation.
• Support the adoption of AI capabilities within backend applications and enterprise platforms.
• Participate in architecture reviews, technical planning, and solution governance.
• Ensure solutions follow best practices for security, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a Technical Leader, Senior Developer, or Technical Lead role.
• Strong knowledge of backend application architecture and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience designing and implementing solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.
• Experience with REST APIs, system integrations, and enterprise application development.
• General knowledge of Artificial Intelligence concepts and AI-enabled solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ADA, the AWS-based enterprise data platform used in banking environments.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and microservices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Previous experience in banking or financial services projects.
• Exposure to Generative AI, machine learning platforms, or intelligent automation initiatives.
