Job Description

As a Senior Backend Developer , you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications using Java and TypeScript while contributing to the implementation of blockchain-based solutions where security, transparency, and performance are critical.

You will collaborate closely with architects, frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality software that meets business and technical requirements. This role requires a strong engineering mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in an international environment where English is the primary language of communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and TypeScript .
• Build secure, reliable, and high-performance APIs and distributed backend applications.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of blockchain-based solutions and integrations.
• Collaborate with solution architects and engineering teams to define technical architectures and system designs.
• Develop and optimize microservices and enterprise backend components.
• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to software engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize system performance.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Document technical solutions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay up to date with emerging backend and blockchain technologies, recommending improvements where appropriate.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Strong expertise in Java and TypeScript .
• Experience designing and developing scalable backend applications and RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and modern software architecture principles.
• Experience working with blockchain technologies or blockchain-based application development.
• Knowledge of software design patterns, clean code principles, and backend best practices.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile development environments.
• English level: C1 (Mandatory) .

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with smart contracts and distributed ledger technologies.
• Experience working in financial services, fintech, or digital asset environments.
• Knowledge of security best practices for backend and blockchain applications.
