We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with advanced English skills to join a top-tier international project. The successful candidate will participate in the development of AI-based platforms, designing and implementing high-performance backend services and integrating AI models and LLMs in cloud environments.
Design and implement backend services that support AI-based workflows.
Optimize the performance, scalability, and availability of services.
Integrate language models (LLMs) and different AI model endpoints.
Participate in code reviews and provide technical support and mentoring to junior profiles.
Develop unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
Collaborate with international teams using agile methodologies.
Solid experience as a Backend Developer.
High level of English (essential).
Experience developing with Java and/or Python .
Experience with PostgreSQL .
Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
Knowledge of scalable backend service architecture.
Experience in testing (unit and integration testing).

You will work 100% remotely from wherever you decide. Sometimes you may have face-to-face meetings and for that reason you have to reside in Spain or in the European Union.
You will work on projects with a leading company in digital transformation with a passion for technology and innovation in sectors such as banking (35 of the main banks worldwide work with our client), insurance, industrial and automotive in Big Data projects, Blockchain, AI, Cloud, among others.
