Job Description
As the Solution Architect, you will be responsible for defining and governing the global solution architecture for the organization's next-generation multi-currency accounts platform.
You will collaborate with global architecture teams, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to transform strategic business objectives into scalable, secure, and future-proof technology solutions.
This position requires a unique combination of strategic thinking, technical architecture expertise, stakeholder management, and execution capabilities to ensure successful project delivery across international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and define the end-to-end solution architecture for the new multi-currency accounts platform.
- Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes and accelerate project execution.
- Drive architectural initiatives that maximize business value, quality, and operational efficiency.
- Promote best practices and architectural standards across multiple geographies.
- Collaborate with global architecture teams to prioritize requirements and align solution roadmaps.
- Build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Translate business strategy into scalable, innovative, and sustainable technology solutions.
- Monitor project progress, ensuring architectural consistency and successful execution.
- Support strategic decision-making through data-driven analysis and KPI monitoring.
- Foster collaboration between architecture, engineering, and business teams to deliver high-impact initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar architecture role.
- Strong knowledge of Core Banking, with a particular focus on Accounts.
- Experience designing enterprise solution architectures for complex banking platforms.
- Solid understanding of modern architectural paradigms, including:
- Event-driven architecture
- Distributed systems
- Enterprise integration
- Experience leading strategic initiatives from design through execution.
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Ability to transform business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Experience working with KPIs and performance monitoring.
- Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior business and technology stakeholders.
- English level: B2.
Preferred Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.
- MBA or postgraduate business qualification is highly desirable.
- Experience in international or multi-country banking transformation programs.
- Knowledge of Payments and payment ecosystems.
- Experience working in agile environments and cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage change and adapt in fast-paced organizations.
