Project Head – IT Project Governance Lead (Global Markets & Equities)
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Program Leadership
- Lead large-scale IT and business transformation programs within Global Markets.
- Define and drive project roadmaps, delivery strategies, and governance frameworks.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and initiatives across Equities trading and post-trade environments.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives, technology capabilities, and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, including Trading Heads, COOs, Operations Leaders, and Technology Executives.
- Facilitate executive-level decision-making and governance forums.
- Build strong relationships across Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, and IT departments.
Project Governance & Delivery
- Oversee project planning, execution, budgeting, reporting, and resource management.
- Monitor risks, dependencies, issues, and mitigation strategies.
- Establish governance standards and delivery best practices across programs.
- Supervise and mentor Project Managers and multidisciplinary delivery teams.
Front-to-Back Transformation
- Coordinate end-to-end business and technology initiatives covering:
- Trading platforms
- Order Management Systems
- Connectivity solutions
- Post-trade processing
- Clearing and settlement operations
- Drive operational efficiency and process optimization across the value chain.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Professional Experience
- 4+ years of experience managing IT projects within Investment Banking or Capital Markets environments.
- Proven track record leading complex transformation programs and strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple Project Managers and large cross-functional teams.
- Strong background in Project Governance, Program Management, and Executive Stakeholder Management.
