About the Role
As a Cloud Engineer , you will be responsible for designing, deploying, automating, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will collaborate closely with DevOps teams, system administrators, and software engineers to ensure reliable and scalable cloud environments.
The role requires a proactive professional with strong automation capabilities and a passion for infrastructure as code, cloud optimization, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
- Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions
- Automate cloud provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes
- Monitor cloud environments to ensure performance, scalability, and security
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud migration and modernization initiatives
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues in cloud environments
- Apply best practices related to cloud governance, security, and cost optimization
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and cloud innovation projects
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar cloud infrastructure role
- Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure
- Solid experience with Terraform and Ansible
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation frameworks
- Good understanding of networking, security, virtualization, and cloud architecture principles
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in international and collaborative environments
- English level: C1 (Advanced)
Nice to Have
- Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, or similar)
- Experience with Kubernetes or containerization technologies
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools
- Experience working in Agile environments
