Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Security Specialist with strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and hands-on experience in security assessment and risk analysis across modern IT environments.

The ideal candidate will participate in cybersecurity reviews, evaluate compliance against security standards and organizational policies, and collaborate with teams to design and implement effective security controls.

This role requires a combination of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills to work effectively in client-facing environments and fast-changing project contexts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct cybersecurity assessments and security design reviews across multiple technology environments.
  • Perform:
    • Threat modelling
    • Risk assessments
    • Security gap analysis
    • Security control evaluations
  • Assess compliance against organizational cybersecurity policies, standards, and frameworks.
  • Support the design, selection, and implementation of security controls.
  • Analyze infrastructure, applications, and development processes from a security perspective.
  • Collect and document security evidence and assessment results when required.
  • Identify vulnerabilities, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Produce clear documentation and actionable security recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and support multiple concurrent initiatives.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, DevSecOps, or security assessment roles.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Cybersecurity design principles
    • Risk management
    • Threat modelling
    • Security best practices and governance
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and frameworks such as:
    • ISO 2700X
    • NIST
  • Experience assessing security across:
    • Infrastructure layer
    • Application layer
    • SDLC / Tooling / Software Supply Chain
    • Data protection
    • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Ability to perform:
    • Security audits
    • Gap analysis
    • Security documentation
    • Evidence collection
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Client-oriented mindset with excellent communication abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in team environments.
  • Flexibility to manage multitasking and changing priorities.

Nice to Have

  • Advanced or specialized expertise in at least one of the following domains:
    • Infrastructure Security
    • Application Security
    • DevSecOps / Software Supply Chain Security
    • Data Protection
    • Identity & Access Management
  • Experience participating in demand management processes.
  • Familiarity with enterprise security governance models.
  • Certifications related to cybersecurity or cloud security are a plus.
