Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect with strong expertise in system integration, APIs, Kafka, microservices, AWS, and enterprise architecture governance.

The selected professional will design and guide the implementation of scalable integration architectures while collaborating hands-on with engineering teams to ensure successful delivery. The role requires both strategic architectural vision and practical technical involvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and actively participate in enterprise integration solutions for new systems and transformation projects.
• Define and govern integration architectures across multiple business domains, ensuring interoperability between legacy and modern systems.
• Work closely with engineering teams to support implementation, troubleshooting, optimization, and successful delivery of integration solutions.
• Lead technical workshops with architects, engineering, security, data, and business stakeholders.
• Design and maintain architectural artefacts including:
  • Interface specifications
  • Architecture documents
  • Sequence diagrams
  • Data flow diagrams
  • Security models
• Apply best practices in:
  • AWS cloud integration
  • APIs & Microservices
  • Kafka & event-driven architectures
  • Batch and real-time processing
  • Security-by-design principles
  • Data management and data pipelines
• Ensure all solutions are secure, resilient, compliant, and aligned with enterprise governance standards.
• Present architectural solutions to Architecture and Integration Boards for approval.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering Leads, Data Teams, Security Teams, and Business SMEs to ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly in English within an international environment.
• Demonstrate a proactive, collaborative, and hands-on approach throughout the project lifecycle.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as:
  • Solution Architect
  • System Integration Specialist
  • IT Integrator
  • Enterprise Architect
  • Similar architecture/integration roles
• Strong experience with:
  • APIs (REST / SOAP)
  • Kafka and event-driven architectures
  • Microservices
  • AWS ecosystem (EC2, S3, databases, cloud infrastructure)
  • Integration patterns and middleware
• Proven experience creating integration and architecture design artefacts.
• Experience operating within architecture and integration governance frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for different audiences.
• Experience in secure integration design:
  • Authentication
  • Authorization
  • Encryption
  • API security
  • Data protection
• Excellent English communication skills – C1 mandatory.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on implementation experience with engineering teams.
• Experience in large-scale transformation or banking migration programs.
