DevOps Specialist (IaC & CI/CD) – AWS CloudFormation Expert
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation (primary focus)
- Ensure reproducibility, scalability, and security of cloud environments
- Work with Terraform when required (secondary usage)
Automation & CI/CD
- Manage and optimize Jenkins (administration, pipelines, deployments, automation)
- Support teams in adopting GitHub Actions
- Promote standardized CI/CD workflows and best practices
Technical Support & Enablement
- Provide expert DevOps support to development teams
- Assist in troubleshooting, resolving incidents, and improving technical adoption
Standardization & Accelerators
- Develop reusable templates, libraries, and configurations
- Enable faster delivery of projects, particularly in Generative AI environments
Validation & Governance
- Perform technical reviews to ensure compliance with architecture and standards
- Maintain consistency and quality across implementations
Coordination & Backlog Support
- Act as a technical reference within the DevOps team
- Collaborate on backlog prioritization, task reviews, and technical tracking
- Coordinate closely with development and product teams
Candidate Profile
Experience & Background
- Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps or Infrastructure roles
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS environments
- Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation preferred)
- Experience supporting development teams and CI/CD adoption
Technical Skills
- IaC: AWS CloudFormation (core), Terraform (nice to have)
- CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions
- Version Control: Git
- Cloud Platform: AWS
- Strong understanding of automation, deployment pipelines, and DevOps practices
Soft Skills
