As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of microservices and serverless functions. You will work with Python (v3.11/v3.12), implement robust security mechanisms (mTLS, token-based authentication, encryption), and support incident resolution across the platform.
This role requires a deep understanding of backend development best practices, asynchronous programming, cloud deployments, and CI/CD pipelines.
Design, develop, and maintain Python microservices and AWS Lambdas.
Build secure, low-latency communication mechanisms using mTLS, security tokens, certificates, and identity encryption.
Contribute to architecture discussions and backend optimizations.
Provide incident support and troubleshoot issues across distributed systems.
Ensure high-quality code through testing (unit, integration) and best development practices.
Work with container-based deployments and modern AWS services.
3+ years of professional experience in backend development with Python (v3.11/v3.12).
Strong knowledge of secure communication: mTLS, tokens, certificates, identity encryption.
Solid experience developing microservices—preferably with FastAPI.
Hands-on expertise in Python ecosystem tools:
httpx, asyncio/async, uv, Ruff, FastAPI, pytest
Strong understanding of development patterns, clean code principles, and testing methodologies.
Experience working with containers (build & run).
Proficiency with AWS services, particularly:
CloudWatch, X-Ray, AppRunner/Fargate, Lambda, DynamoDB (NoSQL)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Sonar.
Knowledge of LLM libraries or AI-assisted development.
