As a Cloud Architect (CloudOps & FinOps), you will work directly with technical leaders across the company to define best-in-class architectural designs, ensure efficient operations, and drive cost optimization initiatives. You will validate KPIs, guide teams through capacity planning, perform PoCs for technical improvements, and help establish strong governance models for the FinOps Architect role at a global level.
You will also lead actionable optimization strategies—ranging from modernization, rightsizing, and resource elimination—to developing migration plans that ensure reliable and efficient transitions from on-premise to cloud architectures.
Work closely with Tech Leads and Solution Architects to ensure efficient architecture designs and optimal operational processes.
Ensure architectural solutions clearly define functional KPIs, cost drivers, and provide reporting to FinOps Metrics tools.
Validate that architecture designs include accurate capacity planning, based on functional metrics and aligned with decision-making best practices.
Perform technical Proofs of Concept (PoCs) for specific optimizations.
Produce templates, automation assets, and documentation enabling teams to apply improvements independently.
Identify and execute optimization opportunities:
Modernization of services
Resource reduction or elimination
Rightsizing / instance type adjustments
Performance and efficiency tuning
Collaborate with Architecture teams to create end-to-end optimization plans for existing solutions.
Support the design of solid, reliable cloud migration plans for architectures currently running on-premise.
As a Global FinOps Architect, you will:
Define FinOps best practices for the wider organization.
Contribute to building the governance model for the FinOps Architect role.
Support continuous improvement in cloud cost visibility, accountability, and optimization
3+ years of experience as Cloud Architect, CloudOps Engineer, or similar
Experience collaborating with technical architecture teams
Strong understanding of:
Cloud architecture designs
Capacity planning and cloud metrics
Cost optimization strategies
Cloud operational processes
1.Experience performing technical PoCs and documenting improvements
2.Knowledge in cloud modernization practices and cloud migration methodologies
3.Strong communication and collaboration skills
4.English level: B2
Experience with FinOps principles and tools
Experience defining optimization playbooks or best practices at an organizational level
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP architectures
Ability to produce clear technical documentation and reusable templates
