As a Guidewire Integration BA , you will be responsible for translating business needs into clear integration requirements, supporting design decisions, and ensuring seamless communication between business stakeholders, technical teams, and 3rd-party providers.
You will analyze workflows, map data exchange, validate integration behavior, and support testing activities—all while ensuring alignment with Guidewire best practices and integration standards. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring smooth, scalable, and compliant integration solutions that support the insurer's digital transformation.
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Guidewire integrations
Defines integration use cases, data mappings, and message flows
Collaborate with SMEs to understand business rules and operational processes
Translate functional needs into clear technical specifications
Work closely with developers, architects, and 3rd-party teams to ensure alignment on interface requirements
Support API and service design (REST/SOAP) from a business perspective
Assist in validating integration approaches, workflows, and data contracts
Prepare test cases and assist in functional, integration, and end-to-end testing
Validate data exchanges, system behavior, and error handling
Support UAT and coordinate with business stakeholders for acceptance
Produces high-quality functional documentation (BRD, user stories, data mappings, process flows)
Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring smooth communication in English and French
Facilitate workshops, requirement clarifications, and follow-ups.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in insurance or large enterprise environments
Strong experience with Guidewire integrations (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter)
Solid understanding of integration patterns, APIs (REST/SOAP), and data mapping
Experience working with Agile methodologies (user stories, backlog, refinement sessions)
Excellent analytical and documentation skills
Strong communication skills in English (B2) and French
Ability to work with cross-functional and international teams
Knowledge of the insurance business (P&C)
Experience with middleware or ESB solutions (MuleSoft, Kafka, etc.)
Understanding of technical concepts: JSON/XML, data structures, workflows
Experience in large transformation programs (policy, billing, claims)
