As a Guidewire Integration DevOps Engineer, you will support the full lifecycle of Guidewire integrations—from design and development to automated deployment and monitoring. You’ll work on connecting Guidewire (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter) with multiple 3rd-party platforms using modern integration patterns and DevOps best practices.
Your mission will be to enhance integration reliability, streamline CI/CD pipelines, optimize delivery processes, and ensure smooth operation of Guidewire environments. Collaboration with developers, architects, and infrastructure teams will be key to your success.
Design, develop, and maintain Guidewire integrations using GOSU, plugins, messaging, and APIs
Implement and consume REST/SOAP services, transforming and validating data flows
Troubleshoot integration issues and support production deployments
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Guidewire applications (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)
Automate build, deployment, and testing processes
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for integration components
Streamline versioning, branching, and environment management
Improve operational workflows, stability, and scalability
Work closely with architecture, development, and 3rd-party teams to define and implement integration best practices
Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions
Ensure high-quality documentation, testing, and compliance with security and performance standards
3+ years of experience in Guidewire development (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter)
Strong knowledge of Gosu, messaging, integration plugins, and Guidewire configuration
Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, XML/JSON, and enterprise integration patterns
Practical DevOps experience:
CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
Git version control
Scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
Automated deployments
Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Splunk, ELK, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, etc.)
Solid understanding of software delivery processes and Agile methodologies
Good communication in English (B2 level)
Experience with cloud Guidewire deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with MuleSoft, Kafka, or other middleware
Understanding of insurance domain processes
