Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement scalable, secure, high-performance cloud architectures on AWS.

• Produces detailed technical specifications and architectural documentation.

• Lead cloud migration and modernization strategies, including hybrid environments.

• Evaluate and recommend technologies, creating proofs of concept to validate innovations.

• Establish and enforce architectural standards and patterns across the organization.

• Guide development teams through design reviews and best practices.

• Align technology decisions with business objectives and long-term strategy.

• Mentor and coach technical talent while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Stay ahead of AWS trends and drive the adoption of cloud-native practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in cloud or application architecture, with leadership of AWS initiatives .

• Expert knowledge of AWS services and cloud-native architectures .

• Strong background in networking, security, distributed systems, and APIs .

• Experience designing microservices and event-driven architectures (EDA) .

• Practical application of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) .

• Hands-on with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).

• Solid understanding of compliance, governance, and cloud security .

• Proven ability to produce clear technical documentation .

• AWS Solutions Architect – Professional certification.

• Exposure to EDA platforms (SNS, SQS, EventBridge, Kafka).

• Hands-on CI/CD and DevOps practices.

• Familiarity with observability tools and Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, JIRA, Confluence).

About the projects you will work on

You will work 100% remotely from wherever you decide. Sometimes you may have face-to-face meetings and for that reason you have to reside in Spain or in the European Union.

You will work on projects with a leading company in digital transformation with a passion for technology and innovation in sectors such as banking (35 of the main banks worldwide work with our client), insurance, industrial and automotive in Big Data projects, Blockchain, AI, Cloud, among others.
