As a Technical Analyst , you will play a key role in translating business requirements into robust mainframe solutions. You'll be responsible for designing technical specifications, supporting development teams, and leading test strategy definition and execution. Occasional hands-on coding may be required. This position demands a high level of autonomy and strong analytical and communication skills, especially for working with international teams, including those based in Pune.
Analyze user requirements and translate them into detailed technical designs.
Create high-quality technical specifications for mainframe developments.
Provide technical support to development teams and ensure alignment with business goals.
Design and execute test strategies and test cases independently.
Perform and manage testing cycles , including functional and regression testing.
Participate in production deployment preparations and post-go-live support .
Communicate effectively with end users and international teams , including remote collaboration with teams abroad.
Minimum 3 years of experience with COBOL, CICS, and DB2 on mainframe platforms.
Proven experience (ideally 5+ years ) in a Technical Analyst role.
Ability to independently produce technical documentation and drive solutions through the SDLC.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to support multiple stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2 level or higher) .
Comfortable working in international, cross-functional teams
