Job Description:

As a Mobile Technical Lead , you will take ownership of the development and architectural direction of our cross-platform mobile app, working closely with our Tech Lead , Product , and UX/UI teams to deliver an impactful MVP covering core user journeys like onboarding , account management , and money movement .

You'll define and implement the technical foundation of the app—including CI/CD , QA practices , security protocols (ID&V, biometrics) , and modular architecture —ensuring the platform is scalable for future enhancements such as open banking , live chat , and smart financial tools .

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end development of a cross-platform mobile app using React Native

• Defines the technical architecture , including tooling, testing strategy, and security layers

• Work closely with internal teams on the MVP delivery (onboarding, account management, transactions)

• Guide CI/CD implementation , QA automation , and modular component design

• Ensure app delivery to both Apple App Store and Google Play Store

• Provide mentorship and support to internal mobile engineering capability

• Collaborate on forward-looking features and integrations (eg Open Banking , AI-driven tools , customer support chat )

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in mobile development, with strong focus on React Native

• Proven track record of publishing apps to Apple App Store and Google Play

• Experience developing for both iOS and Android platforms

• Strong understanding of security best practices , including identity verification , passcodes , and biometrics

• Deep knowledge of modular design , mobile app architecture , and CI/CD pipelines

• Strong collaboration and communication skills (minimum English level B2 )

• Agile mindset with a hands-on, problem-solving approach

Nice to Have:

• Experience with financial apps or regulated industries

• Familiarity with Open Banking APIs , real-time notifications , or machine learning features

• Past leadership in setting up internal mobile teams or frameworks

You will work 100% remotely from wherever you decide. Sometimes you may have face-to-face meetings and for that reason you have to reside in Spain or in the European Union.
