As an AWS Cloud Engineer – Security Focus, you will be responsible for securing and managing AWS environments in line with industry best practices and internal security policies. You’ll play a key role in handling technical requests, resolving incidents, and implementing preventive measures to ensure our cloud infrastructure is compliant, protected, and reliable.
You’ll work closely with security, compliance, and operations teams to address requests, manage risks, and support the secure evolution of our AWS ecosystem.
Manage and resolve technical tickets related to AWS security (e.g., IAM permissions, encryption, secure network configurations)
Analyze and mitigate vulnerabilities in cloud environments
Define and implement access control policies (IAM roles, SCPs, S3 bucket policies, etc.)
Use Infrastructure as Code tools (CloudFormation, Terraform) to automate security configurations
Monitor security alerts and assist in incident response
Maintain up-to-date documentation for all security configurations, policies, and compliance standards
Collaborate with multiple technical teams to ensure aligned, secure cloud operations
3+ years of hands-on experience managing and securing AWS environments
Strong knowledge of AWS security services: IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, Config, Security Hub, VPC, WAF
Experience managing technical requests/tickets in enterprise platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards: ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, GDPR
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
English level: B2 or higher (able to work in international team environments)
