As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing cost data from multiple cloud infrastructure and service providers, generating insightful reports, defining budget alerts, and contributing to cost optimization strategies. Your work will directly impact the financial efficiency of our cloud operations, helping teams understand and manage cloud spending more effectively.
Gather cost data from various cloud infrastructure and service sources.
Perform cost analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and saving opportunities.
Generate regular and ad-hoc cloud spending reports for internal stakeholders.
Define and configure spending alerts to control and monitor cloud budgets.
Collaborate with engineering and finance teams to optimize cloud resource usage.
Minimum 3 years of experience working in cloud engineering or CloudOps roles.
Strong understanding of cloud cost structures and pricing models (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
Experience with tools for cost tracking and reporting.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
Experience setting up cost alerts and defining budget thresholds.
Excellent communication skills to convey technical financial insights to non-technical stakeholders.

You will work 100% remotely from wherever you decide. Sometimes you may have face-to-face meetings and for that reason you have to reside in Spain or in the European Union.
You will work on projects with a leading company in digital transformation with a passion for technology and innovation in sectors such as banking (35 of the main banks worldwide work with our client), insurance, industrial and automotive in Big Data projects, Blockchain, AI, Cloud, among others.
