As a Backend Developer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-performance microservices using modern Java frameworks and tools. You will work on distributed, real-time systems leveraging Kafka , AWS , Docker , and Kubernetes , playing a critical role in building resilient, scalable backend services.
You'll be part of a collaborative environment, working with cross-functional teams, and contributing to both the technical design and the implementation of advanced backend architectures.
Develop and maintain Java backend microservices using Spring Boot 2 , Spring Cloud , and Hibernate/JPA .

5+ years of experience in Java backend development .
3+ years building microservices-oriented applications , ideally in production.
Strong hands-on experience with Kafka , PostgreSQL , GRPC , and REST APIs .
Proficient with Gradle , JUnit , and best testing practices.
Solid understanding of Docker , Kubernetes , and AWS cloud services .
English proficiency at B2 level (reading and writing); spoken English is a plus but not mandatory.

You will work 100% remotely from wherever you decide. Sometimes you may have face-to-face meetings and for that reason you have to reside in Spain or in the European Union.
