Job Description:

As a Backend Tech Lead , you will be responsible for leading the design and development of our AI Control Panel backend. This includes REST API development, integration with GCP services, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build robust and scalable solutions.

You will play a key role in designing new backend components, improving our architecture, and driving best practices across the development team. This role demands technical excellence , autonomy , and mentorship capabilities .

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of the backend for the AI ​​Control Panel

• Design and implement RESTful APIs using Flask and Python 3

• Architect and develop new backend services to support the GenAI platform

• Ensure code quality , scalability , security , and performance

• Integrate GCP services (eg, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, IAM, Secret Manager, etc.)

• Collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams

• Mentor junior team members and foster technical growth within the backend team

Requirements:

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Python 3

• Proven experience developing REST APIs with Flask

• Strong knowledge of modular backend architecture , error handling, and testing

• Solid experience with GCP services including IAM, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Secret Manager

• Proficiency with CI/CD tools , Docker , and cloud-based deployment pipelines

• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL); bonus for non-relational like Firestore or BigQuery

• Autonomous, technically sound, and experienced in team leadership and mentorship

Nice to Have:

• Advanced knowledge of cloud security , OAuth/JWT , and secret management

• Experience with event-driven architectures or Pub/Sub-based systems

• Familiarity with defining reusable service templates (eg, Infrastructure as Code, boilerplates)

Location: Remote/Hybrid based on candidate availability

Role: Full-time, Leadership Position
