Job Description:

As a Senior DBA , you will be responsible for the administration, performance optimization, and incident resolution of Oracle and PostgreSQL databases. You'll work with cutting-edge tools and automation frameworks, contributing to the stability and scalability of mission-critical systems. You'll also be involved in lifecycle management, automation, and diagnostics, collaborating closely with other IT teams in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Oracle RAC 19c (or higher) and PostgreSQL databases.

• Monitor and optimize performance using Oracle Enterprise Manager and AWR analysis .

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues by understanding the internal workings of Oracle databases.

• Develop automation scripts and workflows using Ansible , Shell scripting , Git , and Jenkins .

• Support and maintain databases running on Linux environments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support deployments, upgrades, and migrations.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on DBA experience.

• Expertise in Oracle RAC administration (19c or above).

• Strong experience with PostgreSQL ; EDB knowledge is a plus.

• Deep understanding of Oracle internals for incident analysis and resolution.

• Proficiency in Shell scripting , Linux , and automation tools ( Ansible , Git , Jenkins ).

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Desirable Knowledge:

• Oracle: Data Guard , GoldenGate , RMAN , Upgrades , Migrations , Multitenant architecture .

• PostgreSQL: Barman , Replication Manager .

• Experience with AWS and Oracle Cloud platforms.
