Job Description:

As a Test Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in designing, executing, and refining test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of financial applications. You will be involved in the full testing lifecycle, from strategy creation to hands-on automation, across frontend, backend, and database layers. The role requires experience in modern testing frameworks, strong technical acumen, and the ability to work within cross-functional agile teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute detailed Test Plans and Test Strategies.

• Conduct Functional and Automated Testing across multiple system layers.

• Collaborate with developers and analysts to ensure test coverage and product reliability.

• Perform backend validation on MongoDB and Oracle databases.

• Work across frontend technologies like Angular and AngularJS.

• Conduct service-level testing using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot environments.

• Utilize tools like JUnit, XML, and Git within the SDLC process.

Technical Stack:

• Testing: Functional & Automated Testing, Test Planning, Test Strategy, JUnit, XML

• Core Banking Focus: FX products

• Frontend: Angular, AngularJS

• Backend Services: Java, Spring, Spring Boot

• Databases: MongoDB, Oracle

• Version Control: Git

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in testing roles.

• Proven experience with automated test frameworks and functional test scenarios.

• Familiarity with SDLC, version control, and agile practices.

• Experience in financial services, especially FX products, is a big plus.

• English not required.

You will work 100% remotely from wherever you decide. Sometimes you may have face-to-face meetings and for that reason you have to reside in Spain or in the European Union.
